!MPACT 2024 Postponed

Dear ASAA Member Schools,

On November 29th, 2023 the ASAA Executive Committee agreed to postpone the 2024 ASAA !MPACT Student Athlete Leadership Conference until May 2025 due to financial and human resource constraints. More information including dates and location for the 2025 !MPACT Conference will become available at the start of the 2025 school year.

We look forward to seeing our Student Athlete Leaders and their teacher mentors in 2025!

FREE Neuromuscular Training in Rugby Workshop

Neuromuscular training has been shown to reduce injury and concussion risk in youth athletes. The Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre is offering a FREE online workshop on Thursday, February 15th at 7pm to share a rugby specific neuromuscular training warmup program with Alberta highschool teachers. This program was developed in collaboration with Rugby Canada and World Rugby. It is an excellent program to use with your rugby teams this upcoming season!
